Various maintenance, re-roofing, and waterproofing projects at the Entyce Five Roses Tea Factory in Durban’s Point precinct. We also completed a very technical and logistically difficult asbestos removal and re-roof project in 2023. Due to its proximity to the sea, this site is subject to extreme weathering and material wear and tear. We have an ongoing partnership with site engineers to solve the various structural problems at the site.

Asbestos Roof Removal 

We completed the removal of 1 100m2 of asbestos roofing material at the Entyce facility in Durban. This was highly technical in a very narrow work area and our teams had to work carefully to remove the materials without cracking or breaking the asbestos sheets. 

We worked within full compliance of asbestos abatement regulations and works were completed according to comprehensive health and safety legislation. All records were meticulously kept and handed to the client on completion.

We also completed these works during the December shutdown, to minimise risk to Entyce employees and avoid any production downtime.
